  • Dropdown option text alignment

    My product option is showing as:

    Pearl
    Color

    on my listing page, next to the dropdown box of options. I've tried and tried but can't seem to increase the line width so it displays as:

    Pearl Color

    Can anyone help?

    having a hard time picturing what you are describing.

    Can you describe with a bit more detail? are these separate option sets or just different options within the same set?

      Here is the page:

      Large Rose Gold and Swarovski Pearl Bridal Hairpins

      Basically, my option is crammed into a small space (I guess) so instead of being:

      pearl color ___(option-white)___

      it is showing as:

      pearl ___(option-white)___
      color

      Does that make sense? I'm sure its and easy fix I just can't figure it out. Here is the code:

      <!--START: dropdownimage-format-->
      <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
      <tr>
      <td valign="middle" width="150"><select name="[oname]" onchange="validateValues(document.add,1);selectOpt ion(this);" class="txtBoxStyle">
      <!--START: option-->
      <option value="[value]" [selected]>[feature] [oprice]</option>
      <!--END: option-->
      </select></td>
      <td>&nbsp;</td>
      <td><img name="img_[oname]" src="assets/templates/common/images/spacer.gif" alt="" border="0" /></td>
      </tr>
      </table>
      <!--END: dropdownimage-format-->

      When I change the "width" it increases the entire text box, but the option title is still crammed onto 2 lines.

        In your Listing template see if you can find the following and change the width:

        Code:
        <td class="item" align="right" colspan="2" width="80" valign="middle"><strong>[OPTIONLABEL]</strong></td>
        Your code may look similar or different as I have done modifications to most templates, but you get the idea.

          I have this one already:

          <td class="item" align="right" colspan="2" width="150" valign="middle"><strong>[OPTIONLABEL]</strong></td>

          I tried changing the 150 to 80, and it didn't do anything at all

            Try adding: nowrap="nowrap"
            Code:
            <td class="item" width="80" valign="middle" align="right" colspan="2" nowrap="nowrap">
            Edit: added screen shotrrw_capture.JPG
            screenshot showing the change, note, I set the width to 250 get your second line to show in one line, in my opinion it is too wide, set it 80 or 100.
