  • Change the 'header' height

    Hi guys, We did this before with our old site, but have been working all day and can't seem to find where to do it.

    We want to shrink the box (that you see with our awful arrows)

    Does anyone know where we can find this. Again, we did this before, so it is possible.

    Thank you for your time.

    This is from your old site.
    look in templates/__custom/Styles/styles.css for below.

    see if changing height: 46px would do the trick.

    /* Pages Menu */
    #Menu {
    clear: both;
    float: left;
    width:100%;
    margin:0;
    height:46px;
    display: inline;
    position: relative;
    z-index: 1; background:url(../images/menBg.png) no-repeat 0 0; line-height: 42px;
    }

      I would recommend the following:
      1. Validate your Internet Explorer browser is at least version 9
      2. Bring up yor webpage that you want to make changes.
      3. Press the F12 button. This will bring up the IE developer tools.
      4. You will see an expandable html view of your page in the left pane. When you click on the "+" signs, it will expand to see your code.
      5. When you click on the text of a html statement, it will be outlined in the browser.
      6. In the right pane, will be the styles that impact that area.
      7. Each of the styles can be modified by clicking on the style.
      8. Use this tool to find what needs to be changed to create your desired changes.
      9. The right pane to the far right will tell you where the style code is located.

      Hope this helps.
