  • First Product Higher (Vertical Alignment) in Chrome

    I noticed the first product on each subcategory, category page, and search page is "higher" than the other products on the first row. For the second row everything is fine and in alignment. This is just on Chrome. On IE everything appears to be the same height and in alignment.

    Here is a link to a page to view as an example: http://www.bead3.com/Czech-Glass-Dra...ads_c_318.html

    The theme is v32005-html5

    Any ideas? Thank you for any help.

    I now have this problem as well. It's very new and a negative effect of the v6.5 update. I've opened a support ticket. I suggest you do so as well. Let them know that someone else is having this same problem and they'll take you more seriously.

      See if you are now on version 6.5 ( I think its a 6.5 code goof ) Confirm if you could that you are both on 6.5 and I will report it

      Then add this to your active css file:

      .paging {width: 100%;}

      BTW: Anyone else have a completely screwed up admin home page Version 6.5.0

      Thanks,
      Shaun

        Mine's not totally screwed up but when you go down the nav bar, none of the subcategories fly out for me. Doesn't in chrome either. What I have found will get them to work is to open a new tab, cruise somewhere, come back to the 3dc tab and the left nav bar will work. PITA but at least I found a way to get it to work

        My first product is higher also v40001-html5 template

          I have dealt with that exact issue in the same way for quite some time now starting with 6.4.3 rollout. The issue I mentioned was actually the password update page ending up in the middle repeated 4 times over itself in the info box area in the home page which was blowing everything out.

            I've had a ticket, well a couple now, open about the left nav bar not working, they closed the ticket but Julian told me if it continued to happen they could do a remote session with me.

            You mean like code duplicating itself? I know my live stats for visitors through woopra increased 22x my usual traffic, I opened a few tickets on that and I guess I didn't really get support to understand the issue so I had to get some help from woopra and when we looked at the tracking code, it had duplicated itself 22 times, one right after the other, over and over and over. So if you land on my page, it registers with woopra as each person landing on each page 22x. The only thing I did prior to that happening was edit some product pricing. I've had that happen each time I make some type of modification, and believe me, you know this Shaun, I am so code challenged I don't mess with ANYTHING unless I have to.

            Trying to find the beginning and end of the tracking code so the rest could be deleted and saved made me feel like my eyeballs were going to bleed ;-)

                First Image Drop

                I fixed mine with a <div class="clear"></div> below the drill down.

                Yes, my admin front panel is very messed up.

                  Yes, I'm on v6.5.0

                  Where do you recommend on the css file to add that line? I tried putting it in the product pages style and also the body but it didn't seem to make a difference?

                    .paging {width: 100%;}

                    is a complete rule. Just add it to a new line in your default_modified.css

                          We are having issues with our admin page also.

                          We also have issues with the vertical alignment.

                          We also have issues with our radio buttons, the buttons are not centered to the left of the items, they are left and down from the products.

                          I am on V6.5.0

                            They updated the radio option functionality. Part of it involved changes they made to layout.css. That may have screwed something up based upon your design. Just because I wanted to have the code in place for the new radio image functionality in case I ever wanted to use it, I went through and updated my template. there are 3 different aspects. It's possible that just updating to the new code might help.

                            Hre are some instructions...assuming you're using an html5 template.

                            1. You can replace the old code block with this:

                            Code:
                                                        <!--START: radio-format-->
                                          <div class="radio-format">
                                            <input type="radio" name="[oname]" id="radio-[value]" value="[value]" [selected] />
                                              <div class="radio-option" data-group="[oname]" title="[feature]" id="[value]" onclick="document.getElementById('radio-[value]').checked=true;validateValues(document.add,1);selectOption(document.getElementById('radio-[value]'));">
                                                <!--START: radio_imagepath-->
                                                <img name="img_[oname]" src="[radio_imagepath]" />
                                                <!--END: radio_imagepath-->
                                                <span>[feature] [oprice]</span>
                                              </div>
                                            <div class="clear"></div>
                                          </div>
                                          <!--END: radio-format-->
                            Also, you'll need to adjust the scripts in the bottom of your listing page's html with these changes.

                            2. Replace the old section for radio buttons options with this:

                            Code:
                                //Radio Button Options
                                jQuery('.radio-format .radio-option').click(function() {

                                    var group = jQuery(this).attr('data-group');
                                    var value = jQuery(this).attr('id');

                                    jQuery(".opt-field :radio[name='" + group + "']").each(function(i) {

                                        if(jQuery(this).attr('value') === value) {
                                            document.getElementById('radio-' + jQuery(this).attr('value')).checked = true;
                                            jQuery("#" + value).addClass('radio-selected');
                                        }
                                        else {
                                            document.getElementById('radio-' + jQuery(this).attr('value')).checked = false;
                                            jQuery('#' + jQuery(this).attr('value')).removeClass('radio-selected');
                                        }
                                    });
                                });
                            3. Just after the line that reads
                            Code:
                            jQuery("#divOptionsBlock").html(strResult);
                            add this:
                            Code:
                            jQuery('#add input[type="radio"]:checked').each(function() {
                            			        jQuery(this).next('div').addClass('radio-selected');
                            			    });
                            Disclaimer: I hope this helps but this is all based upon my particular template and comparisons I made to their new listing_0.html file in the common folder. It worked for me but I can't guarantee it'll fix your problem. You should always save a backup and/or work on an alternate listing template when making alterations.
