  • Background graphic instead of HTML color...

    Hey Y'all! I did a search on this and found that it is possible to do however I am not certain that the information has been updated lately. I know where I need to go to make the change but when I try to use my .gif file nothing happens. I would like to use a graphic for the background and not just a color. Any suggestions on a step by step process for this newbie?

    Thank you in advance!

    Go to your active css file and use this snippet below by changing "yourimagepath" to the path of your image. If the image is a large image to fill the background change "repeat" to "no-repeat". If you are using an actual image of something I would use a .jpg if you are using just a textured block of color or simple image like lines, you should be fine with a .gif

    body {
    background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) url("yourimagepath") repeat scroll 0 0;
    }

    Hope this helps.
