  • Site Review - Live this time

    3dcart people,

After several months and thanks to the support of several on here, we finally finished our responsive redesign and pushed it live. After watching trends on Analytics, I chose to strip it down as much as possible to be easily readable on mobile devices. Also, it is now all https, which was so easy that there appears to be no downside. Please take a look, give your feedback, and let me know if anything is not working:

I also added The Cart Designers one page checkout design:

If you want to try it, choose "Check Payment" as payment method and put a note in to cancel once completed.

    Thanks for your consideration.

Looks excellent to me -- great colors for your product - nice quality images and video -- only thing I would change is use the Quick Cart -- i was looking for that when adding an item to the cart -- I have found that many customers don't know an item has been added without it -- they don't look at the number on the cart icon in the corner -- so they end up adding four or five of the same item and then call me and say there is a problem -- and I look at their cart and they have five of the same item and talk them through. I had the quick cart turned off for a while because I don't like Quick View, but you can't have one without the other.

Hi Brtp4, As you know, I just ordered several cartridges on your site. I found the site very easy to navigate and pleasing to the eye. The checkout process worked flawlessly. My order shipped the same day! The prices were great, and if the quality is as good as everything else has been, I'll be a very happy camper. :)

Thanks gentlemen. Birdsafe, I agree but am chasing an intermittent problem with items being thrown from the cart. Don't really know what to do, and i cannot isolate it. You are probably right, I will turn it back on.

Sorry to keep banging on this drum, but does anyone have any comments on the checkout page design? It is more stylized than the default 3dcart version but I have looked at it so long I am no longer objective.

I thought it looked really good -- thinking about going that way myself as I can't seem to fix an alignment issue with the expiration date box being out of alignment on the checkout page.

Kalaja, 3dcart default is less professional looking, but less crowded also. I switched back to it this AM.

Custom one (turned off at the moment) is more styled but I have some concerns.

The Password field on the Checkout Page may be confusing for some customers (How do you expect me to enter a password and I have never been to your site before :)). It should explain that it's optional and it is for creating a new account.

checkout button was to small .... changed it to entire page width ...conversion is up around 5 % using pop up with code ( 50 sec delay ) https://www.ink4cakes.com/checkout_one.asp
